Transparency in Coverage

The Transparency in Coverage final rule released in October of 2020 by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Labor, and the Department of the Treasury (the Departments) is designed to provide health care price information to allow consumers to obtain access to pricing of our health care coverage plans.

Transparency in Coverage Machine Readable Files

This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
