Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis: Regulatory, Analytical & QC Perspectives
10.03.2025
To reduce the economic and environmental impacts of manufacturing peptides, Snapdragon Chemistry, a Cambrex company, has invested extensively in R&D to design a new liquid phase peptide synthesis (LPPS) technology that utilizes traditional batch reactors and continuous flow, removing the dependency on specialized, solid phase reactors and resulting in more efficient and sustainable processes.
As a manufacturing technology for complex synthetic materials, special consideration should be given to analytical work and quality control for these products. These considerations are also critical in order to facilitate and accelerate the development process when developing an LPPS process.
