The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for partnering with business leadership and management in order to foster and promote the engagement of business values and objectives at all levels.  Serving as a consultant to leadership, this role is responsible for assessing and anticipating human capital related opportunities, advocating for teams, and supporting change initiatives across the business.  The successful Senior HRBP will be responsible for helping to define and champion organizational culture while partnering with business leaders to drive organizational results.

 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies to anticipate and assess emerging business, organizational or people trends and identify and implement the appropriate solution.
  • Design and execute strategies to increase organizational, team and individual performance to improve the business’s capabilities to deliver against its goals. Provide expertise in the areas of leadership and executive team development, organizational effectiveness, and facilitate discussions enabling constructive growth.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence (HR COEs) and corporate leadership teams to develop and maintain human resources-related processes and metrics that drive results, consistency across business units and effectively address the needs and concerns of the organization.
  • Execute the Talent Management process to identify current and forecasted talent needs and, in partnership with other site and segment partners, develop action plans to mitigate associated risk and improve confidence in future successor readiness to enable business objectives.
  • Deliver HR services to clients resulting in a seamless point of contact to the broader HR organization and ensuring successful integration of functional partner initiatives and expertise.
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy to provide a consultative approach to delivery of HR services. Leverage HR / business skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes.
  • Analyzes and reports on KPIs and trends related to human capital and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior team members working as an advocate and coach for their growth as HR practitioners.
  • Oversee and direct the rollout/ implementation of business and company-wide initiatives, including communication, learning materials and training; facilitates workshop and training.

 

 

All employees are required to adhere to DEA, EPA, FDA and cGMP regulations as they relate to the operation of the Company; and to adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.  All employees are expected to report to work regularly and promptly.  Other duties relating to departmental mission, not specifically detailed in this section may be assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field and seven (7) or more years’ related experience in a dynamic and fast paced manufacturing environment; masters degree preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of policy, benefits and human resources.
  • Self-directed with proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Excellent ability to think proactively, anticipate business needs and drive solutions.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
