The facility consists of twelve manufacturing units where products primarily for the pharmaceuticals industry are produced.
Full Scale
We have eight Full Scale Plants. |
Pilot Scale
Cambrex Karlskoga has four Pilot Plants (cGMP). The plants are used for both Process Piloting and Small Scale production |
Kilo Laboratory
We also have a new State-of-the-Art cGMP kilo laboratory, built in 1999. It has two 50 liters reactors, one 100 liters reactor and a fluid bed dryer placed in environmentally controlled areas for pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates. |
R&D Laboratory
The facility includes a Research & Development Laboratory with an extensive range of equipment. There we develop and optimize processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates ("starting materials" for the production of finished substances) to meet the requirements of our customers. In the laboratory we also have our Quality Control. |
